Meredith Parnell grew up in Marin, where her parents were involved in local politics and taught her about the power of an organized citizenry. A former attorney, she has worked in the nonprofit world for the last seventeen years, directing communications for Congregation Rodef Sholom and serving as executive director at MarinKids. She has also been a leader with Marin Organizing Committee since its beginnings in the early 2000s, always fighting for more funding to support the public safety net, affordable housing, and protecting undocumented essential workers. Meredith is a graduate of Mills College and received a JD from George Washington University Law School.
