As a leading organization in Marin County dedicated to eradicating homelessness, we are incredibly proud to share that along with our community partners, St. Vincent de Paul has helped place 518 individuals in permanent supportive housing since 2017.
The cross-county collaborative utilized to make this possible is called Coordinated Entry. Founded in 2017, Coordinated Entry is a uniform system of assessment and prioritization to allocate housing resources. The system incorporates a Housing First (no barriers to entry) approach and ensures that all people experiencing homelessness have equal access to support from local agencies.
While reaching over 500 people housed is a remarkable milestone, our work does not end here. St. Vincent de Paul remains committed to finding long-lasting solutions to homelessness and keeping our neighbors fed with a roof over their heads.
