During the week of Thanksgiving KCBS Radio stopped by our Free Dining Room and initiated a chain reaction of giving, love, and appreciation.
Reporter Jeffrey Schaub spoke with our COO Karen Strolia and discovered that we had only received less than half of the turkeys that we historically do. While these foods are used in our festive meals, they are also served year-round to feed our clients.
Once the story was out on KCBS, we received an outpouring of support from our community and we couldn’t be more grateful. Immediately, we had a significant rise in turkey and monetary donations to help feed our neighbors. Thank you.

We are still accepting turkey and ham donations and do so on a continual basis. We are profoundly grateful for every gift.
Donations may be dropped off at our Free Dining Room, located at 820 B Street in San Rafael, 7 days a week between 6:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
